Many of our models are street-legal as Low-Speed Vehicles (LSVs) when properly equipped — meaning they meet federal LSV requirements (headlights, turn signals, seat belts, mirrors, windshield, VIN). State and local laws then determine where LSVs can be operated, with most states allowing LSVs on roads with posted speed limits of 35 mph or less. Lead-acid packs typically last 4–6 years and degrade noticeably in their final year. When the time comes to replace, we stock lithium replacements for every Whisper Outdoor cart, plus lithium upgrade kits for owners of older lead-acid carts ready to make the switch.
